I was talking to a teenage-patient's mother the other day and she commented how happy she and her daughter were with her acne treatment we had been doing on her. I told her that we have had a lot of success with our PPX machine, but we had been (and continue to be) frustrated with our inability to 'get the word out' about this technology...we tried local print, even that guided towards teenagers, etc with little impact on ringing our phones. She had found us thru googling the web....So I asked Erica, our aesthetician to write a little bit about our acne treatment...here it is...a blog with approach to letting folks know about this subject:
Pore-Cleansing Acne Treatment
Acne is one of the most common skin conditions affecting people of all ages. Most commonly it affects people in their teens, 20’s, 30’s, 40’s and beyond. Untreated acne can cause permanent scarring which is an unwanted permanent reminder of the condition.
The PPx Pore-Cleansing Acne Treatment helps clear acne while helping to cleanse your pores. This unique FDA-approved treatment has even helped people who previously did not respond to topicals, antibiotics, and painful laser treatments. The treatment combines a gentle vacuum with therapeudic broadband light to rid your skin of acne-causing impurities. The PPx system is cleared to treat many different types of acne including: cystic, pustular, comedonal, and acne vulgaris.
In most cases, 3-6 treaments are needed that last about only 30 minutes. The treatments are painless and patients can resume normal activities directly following treatments.

Just received this note from a patient from last fall. This is the sort of thing that makes me love my job.
I just wanted to send you a little note to thank you for helping to make my last 6 months so wonderful for me! I have definitely had a boost of confidence since my breast augmentation surgery in October. I feel so much more feminine and clothes fit me SO much better. I seriously can not thank you enough! I love my new figure and owe it all to Dr. Haas! I have attached a few pictures from this year's Kentucky Derby and Oaks...what a great time and I was actually able to wear a strapless dress and had the confidence to hang out with a few celebrities! Thank you, thank you!

Everyone who visits our home comments how noisy and chaotic it seems...2 boys, 3 yapping dogs, and one loud cockatiel. Or at least until yesterday. Joe the cockatiel died yesterday. We didn't know how old he was because we sort of inherited him from someone who was 'getting rid of' him. Yes, birds are messy but his whistle, esp his wolf whistle, was pretty awesome. And he loved to be around people and sit on Lynne's shoulder. He favored little girls best of all. Anyway, he is missed and I hope he has met lots of friends in the bird hereafter.
