My patients relate this so often to me that we even mention it during their consultations...remember I like to see everyone at least twice prior to their surgery. This insures we are communicating and the patient (or I) don't have any questions or concerns.

This is definitely breast-augmentation season. We are even busier than ever this year. Spring is usually busy for all cosmetic surgery, including liposuction, facelifts, tummy-tucks, etc. We do all our surgery in our accredited in-office surgery suite.

As I've written before, the combination of breast augmentation with a little lipo on the hips or around the waist can really improve the ratios of bust/hip size. I advise patients who have some big event/party/wedding coming up, give yourself 4-6 weeks for everything to look their best.

We are proud to bring the 'Vela-smooth' to our patients. This is the only non-surgical FDA-approved treatment for cellulite.

This treatment consists of a combination of suction/massage along with patented infra-red technology. The good news is it actually works!. The other morning on the NBC Today show there was a story on cellulite and they tried creams and pills...no effect. Vela-smooth showed great improvement!

The treatments consists of packages of 8-10-12 treatments, twice/weeks for 4-6 weeks with maintenance required every couple months. Pricing is around $2500 for the package and $200 for maintenance.

The treatments take about 30 minutes/area...an area would be back of the thighs, another area would be the buttocks. I'm sure we'll run some introductory special.

I'm excited about combining this with our Titan skin-tightener. Should be able to help those with tummies that don't quite require a tuck, but could stand some improvement.

Spring is here - time for the new look!

It's always a surprise to people when I mention how seasonal this business can be. This (Spring) is our busiest time of year. The phone volume even picks up when the weather first hints at becoming sunnier and warmer. I think people just don't think about the inevitable change of seasons in the dark dreary days of winter.

Once Spring and Summer arrive, it's like throwing a switch and patients start to realize they want those new breasts, lipo, facelift, whatever. All our cosmetic surgery (breast augmentation, liposuction, facelifts, tummy tucks) really pick up in volume.

Patients need to think ahead to get in for their appointments and allow us to get them on the surgery schedule. They also need to allow enough time to heal to look good for Derby, spring break, summer whatever. Generally I tell people they need 4-6 weeks to make sure they look and feel great...of course this is individualized.

My point is, if you're considering any plastic surgery, get on the ball now!!
